Marginalised groups have not always been treated fairly and are still vulnerable today which is why we must change the trajectory and adopt a framework of equity in our education and care services. To truly celebrate diversity we must endeavour to detect our blindness.
This requires bravery to recognise bias, analysing your current position for informed action, facilitating safe community consultation for inclusion and deep systemic change.
