An opportunity to explore teaching techniques that strengthen early childhood students’ understanding of children’s being and becoming on Country and in community. Through deeper attention and enhanced intention, this workshop will offer trainers and assessors insight into how engagement in the community enhances outcomes.
With a special guest, a Wakka Wakka woman born in Queensland and currently living and working in early childhood education on Gadigal Land, we will encounter Country and supporting VET teachers to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives into their courses.
