The Nest in Action: Child Friendly Alice with Marly Wells
July 14, 2021 - July 14, 2021
The information that informs the work of Child Friendly Alice is organised around the ARACY Nest, and began with the development of a Community Profile using public data (like the AEDC) and the voices of over 1000 Alice Springs people.
This ‘localised’ information helped to identify areas of priority within each ARACY Nest area. All of the organisations involved in Child Friendly Alice know their work can be linked to at least one of the ARACY areas. Each has a strong focus on children at the centre. All have a commitment to engaging and utilising voice from Aboriginal families and community.
Join Marly Wells, Manager Family and Community Engagement, Connected Beginnings Alice Springs as she describes how Child Friendly Alice is working with community and through the Nest to improve wellbeing for the children and young people of Alice Springs.
