This amazing 1-day conference will teach you the skills to become more mindful in your teaching practice.  Mindfulness improves your physical and mental wellbeing and is a preventative measure to burn-out and anxiety.

During the conference sessions, we explore what it takes to be a Mindful Leader and respond to the challenging and reactive demands of the role. You’ll discover how to incorporate mindfulness into your teaching practice so that you can overcome stress and reduce the cortisol levels in your blood stream.

We’ll explore the 5 core components of mindfulness, attention and the now, understanding thoughts, emotions and behaviours, improving efficiency and enhancing your relationships.

You’ll leave the conference with answers to the big questions in life and uncover what will bring you lasting, genuine mindfulness.

Session 1 – Stepping into Flow

Teaching and Leading is about being present in the moment. Listening without distraction and responding without bias. You’ll learn how you can create an environment of Flow at your service.

Session 2 – What is mindfulness and how does it serve me as a leader?

You will discover what mindfulness is and how it can serve you as a leader. We will also dispel the common beliefs and misconceptions about meditation and mindfulness.

Session 3 – Taming the mind monkeys

In this session, we will explore and practice the different mindfulness techniques so that you can find the right tools that best suit you and your personality.

Session 4 – How to be mindful at work and setting up a daily practice.

In this final part of the series, we will discuss implementing mindfulness and how it affects your teaching practice. We’ll also explore how you can set up a daily routine that will enable you to become a mindful leader.

Mindfulness practice is the easiest and most reliable way to develop a teaching practice which is calm, positive and resilient.
