Supporting children’s transition to school – a collaborative approach
Transitioning children from the early childhood setting to BIG school is a major milestone for everyone involved. This is why establishing a collaborative community approach from the beginning is of the utmost importance.
This interactive workshop will explore what transition to school programs look like in action, with strong links to the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. Supporting literature and current research will be investigated in order to gain an understanding of how educators can assist children’s readiness for school, and support families using a collaborative community approach.
