Responding to Children’s Challenging Behaviours: 4 part series
This four-part series offers a chance to look beyond the behaviours of children in ECE settings, and ask questions that will help us understand the reasons for those behaviours.
We will use the knowledge of child development and neuroscience to shift our view of behaviours as being “tip of the iceberg” and help us look to the roots of these behaviours, so we can support each child sustainably.
Presenter Anna Basas’ work is informed by Pikler pedagogy, relational-developmental approach of Dr Neufield, Polyvagal Theory and Nonviolent Communication.
