The Asia-Pacific Regional Network on Early Childhood (ARNEC) and the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning (KIAEL) invite you to a joint webinar to learn about the state and issues of early childhood education (ECE) in Asia-Pacific and some of the noteworthy practices documented by ARNEC and its partners. This webinar will also discuss how work done by Asian ECE practitioners in the field of Early Learning and Childhood Education can receive international recognition and reward.

• On behalf of ARNEC: Dr. Sheldon Shaeffer. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Asia-Pacific Regional Network on Early Childhood (ARNEC). He was formerly Chief of UNICEF’s global education programme in New York and Director of UNESCO’s Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education.  He has taught, done research, and worked in development programmes in Southeast Asia for over 50 years.
