Oh No! It’s Raining! – Providing opportunities for physical activities no matter the weather
hysical activity is an important part of children’s holistic development and lays the foundation for a healthy and active life. Early childhood educators are ideally placed to support young children to develop positive physical activity habits by providing a range of play based experiences, but this can be difficult when Mother Nature turns on the weather!
Participants will:
- Explore the National Physical Activity recommendations for children.
- Explore fun, inexpensive ideas to encourage physical activity no matter what the weather.
