namuru means ‘path’ or ‘compass’ in the language of the gadigal people, the traditional owners of the land and waters that the MCA is situated upon. namuru is a 1-day program aimed at developing confidence in delivering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content in the early childhood education and care setting, responding to current research and information.
Informed by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Learning Framework, written by the MCA’s Coordinator Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Learning programs, learn new ways to respond to the works of Indigenous artists and support children to make personal connections.
