Leadership in the early years workplace
November 9, 2021 - November 9, 2021
HBF Stadium 100 Stephenson Avenue Mount Claremont, WA 6010
This workshop will explore the importance of strong leadership in Early Childhood settings and share effective leadership tools to use in your setting and with your staff to implement a shared vision. This will support you in addressing Quality Area 7; Leadership and Service Management from the National Quality Standard Framework.
Are you a new leader seeking support, an experienced leader in search of new ideas, or an aspiring leader who is keen to develop your skills. This is the workshop for you.
There is a lot of talk about the limited opportunities for professional learning in Early Childhood Education and we decided to address this issue.
We have used our extensive leadership experience and further study in this area to design the course we wished we had had, when we were new to our leadership positions.
We have covered areas that challenged us including the leadership role and its responsibilities, developing and implementing shared vision, dealing with difficult staff and co workers, juggling administrative tasks and other responsibilities and how to support children and families as a leader.
We want to share with you our wealth of knowledge and practical strategies so that you can thrive in your leadership position and make a difference to the people you support and the children and families you work with.
