Gain the Policy Edge

Gain the Policy Edge is a practical, hands-on program aimed at government and public sector professionals who want to develop their policy and leadership skills. The multi-day program will build participants’ public policy skill set through exercises focussed on the context of public policy work. It also covers the steps to successful public policy making, and the crucial interaction between public servants and ministers.

 

 You will gain insight from senior public sector leaders on their policy perspectives and knowledge as well as experience in presenting a hypothetical policy to government, with feedback from former ministers and secretaries.

 

Participants who successfully complete the IPAA Victoria Gain the Policy Edge are eligible to apply for advanced standing for one post graduate level elective subject into any of the La Trobe Business School post graduate courses, subject to meeting course admission requirements.
