FDCA 2022 National Conference
Known as Australia’s premier family day care conference, the FDCA National Conference has a proud history of bringing together stakeholders from the family day care and early childhood education and care sector to connect and discuss key issues that are impacting the sector.
We are also pleased to announce that out first keynote speaker for the conference has been confirmed with Dr Helen May set to join delegates at the conference.
Dr May began her career in education as an early years teacher; later working in childcare and then teacher education. In the 1990s, Helen worked with Margaret Carr, in the development of Te Whariki, the New Zealand national early childhood curriculum.
Helen has been involved in advocacy work and advisory roles regarding a range of policy initiatives in both New Zealand and international settings. Her research has focussed on early childhood policy, history and curriculum and is spoken and published widely both within New Zealand and overseas.
