COVID-19 Unmasked is an online study that was launched in Australia in May 2020 to advance urgent research into understanding the mental health impacts of the pandemic on young children (1-5 years) and their families.

Eight other countries (US, UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Greece and Cyrpus) have joined the global collaboration. To date, over 1000 Australian families have participated in the COVID-19 Unmasked survey.

In this webinar, Dr Alex De Young will, based on the survey findings, discuss (a) the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health and wellbeing of children and their caregivers (b) the risk and protective factors for child and parent psychological outcomes and (c) implications and recommendations for clinical practice.
