Children’s Rights, Children’s Voices
This session aims to explore the background to the concept of the rights of the child with links to the EYLF, Code of Ethics and the National Quality Standards, and how to embed the rights of the child in practice. Participants will reflect on Quality Area 5 Relationships with children, specifically Element 5.1.2 The dignity and rights of every child are maintained and its implications for practice and explore strategies of how to embed the rights of the child in daily practices, programs and relationships.
