Building Collaborative and Connected Teams
It has long been recognised in early childhood that opportunities for children’s learning and development are greatly enhanced when there is a connected and collaborative team around them and their family.
In this workshop, discover the importance of this evidence-based practice and ways of applying it to your everyday work when supporting a child with disability or developmental concerns and their family.
Learning outcomes:
- Gain an understanding of the key features of an effective collaborative team.
- Identify the knowledge and skills required to build connections and maintain collaborations.
- Build skills to form and maintain a team around the child
- Gain knowledge and skills on creating a safe and supportive team culture.
Target audiences:
- Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Practitioners/Allied Health Professionals
- Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Professionals
- NDIS Early Childhood Partners
- Allied Health and ECEC students/new graduates
CPD hours:
- This workshop can amount as two hours of self-identified PD/CPD.
