Building authentic relationships with Aboriginal families and communities
Shaping genuine and lasting relationships with local Aboriginal families and communities is essential when supporting children’s learning and development.
This workshop is delivered by Yarn Strong Sista who will provide insights on families’ experiences and ways of supporting them and their children in early childhood services. This workshop also includes group work storytelling and hands on art experience.
Learning outcomes:
- Gain a greater understanding of Aboriginal culture
- Build confidence in supporting Aboriginal inclusive practice in your service
- Gain a better understanding of Aboriginal pedagogy

CPD hours:
Workshops can amount as 2 hours of self-identified PD/CPD
