Beginning Teachers Conference 2023 series
The updated Beginning Teachers Conference 2023 series is intended to prepare and inspire all new early childhood teachers as they begin their careers in education. Get insights from early childhood leaders who will share powerful stories and evidence-based learnings you can apply to your new career, such as:
· Professional relationships
· Engaging effectively with families
· Integrated teaching and learning approaches, assessment for learning and development
· Supporting children with special needs and creating inclusive environments, guiding children’s behaviour
· Reflective practice, documentation, planning, legislation, and regulatory frameworks
The 2023 conference series will include workshops to support small group discussions on practise and pedagogy, as well as opportunities for early childhood teachers to continue their education and network with peers. The discussions will assist early childhood teachers in seeking solutions to issues that are most relevant to their day-to-day work, as well as encouraging them to apply and integrate theory into their teaching practise. The conference series this year is available in two formats. Delegates have the option of attending in person or online.
