The focus of this webinar is building learning communities knowledge of trauma response following a bushfire and practical ways to support children and young people with their recovery.

  • Understanding the educator’s role in supporting any response to trauma
  • Identify strategies to support children and young people with recovery following these events

 

About the Bushfire Response Program

 

Following the Black Summer bushfires across Australia in 2019-20, the Be You Bushfire Response Program was funded to provide targeted mental health support to schools and early learning services. The Program is led by Beyond Blue with delivery partners Early Childhood Australia, Emerging Minds and headspace.
