As an Intensive Support Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing targeted leadership and support to centres requiring intensive assistance.
Leveraging your experience as a Centre Director, Area Manager or similar, with a proven track record in performance turnaround, you’ll partner with Centre Teams, meeting them where they are in their capability and experience, to drive their involvement in achieving immediate performance goals and action plans.
This role requires an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification to enable working in ratio if required, along with sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Your Impact:
- Work with State Performance Leads to identify the priority challenges and focus areas for the centre and act as Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor
- Support Centre Leadership Teams to contribute to the development and implementation of action plans to improve performance in the priority focus areas
- Work collaboratively with state and national expert services to support performance uplift and centre team capability build in the priority areas agreed with State Performance Leads
- Empower Centre Teams in their areas of individual expertise and document goals/ action plans and commitments with Centre Teams
- Provide observational data and insights to State Managers and State Performance Leads in relation to Centre Team capacity and performance to support ongoing capability build
- Grow leadership in others by recognising and developing individual and team skills and capabilities
- Use reflective practices as part of a regular routine to promote growth and adaptive thinking
- Support and coach Centre Teams to action safety recommendations and remedy compliance concerns, pulling on state and national expert services as needed
- Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are implemented, and that safety culture exists within the centre
- Participate in Health and Safety Training and mandatory training such as Emergency Management Training

You’ll bring to the table:
- Hold an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Diploma qualification.
- Possess strong business acumen across all domains of centre performance and experience of supporting multi- site teams
- Experience in developing and executing strategic plans to uplift performance
- Experience identifying and addressing centre performance challenges
- Experience building capability and confidence within centre teams
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and establish collaborative relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Valid Working with Children Check Card (relevant to state or territory)
- Current Open Driving License
