We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy leader to join our team of supportive Area Managers. In this role, you will drive financial sustainability, compliance, and growth across AEG’s centres while leading in six key areas: quality, compliance, occupancy, debt, rostering, and people development.

The role

You will work extensively with Centre Managers offering coaching and assistance, aiming to achieve optimal business results and positive outcomes for all children. In this role, some of the duties and responsibilities will include:

Provide mentoring and guidance on the Early Years Framework to Centre Managers to ensure that all staff are developing and delivering relevant programs that cater to all children.

  • Lead, guide and coach a group of Centre Managers to provide assistance and motivation in achieving their objectives.
  • Consistently assess and analyse the centre/s performance to identify, drive and facilitate optimal performance results.
  • Making sure legislative requirements are being followed in accordance with the National Quality Framework.
  • Work in collaboration with the Quality Advisors to ensure all centres within your area meet or exceed the National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework as per the Quality Action Plan.

Qualifications and experience you’ll need to be successful

  • A minimum of 2 years commercial management experience in early childhood
  • Proven multi site experience essential
  • Diploma in Business, Children’s Services, or equivalent 
  • A current working with Children's Check, or the ability to obtain this
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Framework and the National Quality Framework an advantage
  • Leadership skills
  • Sound keyboard and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to oversee the planning and implementation of work programs, maintain relevant records and control budgets.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills
  • A `can do’ positive outlook with a strong team focus.

Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, managing approx. 8 centres.
