About The Role

This role is responsible to assist with the full payroll function servicing approx. 2800 employees and actively participate as a member of the OAC Finance and Payroll teams.

This role is a permanent position.

Other key responsibilities will include:

• Perform the administration function of Payroll
• Ensure payments to employees and staff are made accurately and on time.
• Identify, build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Responding to pay enquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure confidentiality while completing all payroll and implement up to date information on changes to payroll and taxation legislation.
• Assist with month end accounting procedures and with the production of monthly reports as required.

 Ideally, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the childcare industry.
• Strong Experience with the Chris21 Payroll System.
• Time & Attendance experience - Ento, Riteq, Kronos or other relevant timesheet-based systems.
• Sound understanding of Industrial Awards and experience in interpretation and application.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements in respect to PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and EEO principles.
