We’re seeking a dynamic and digitally skilled Preschool Room Leader to join our team. This unique role blends high-quality early childhood practice with leadership, event coordination, and digital content creation. You’ll lead a preschool group using the EYLF v2.0 and NQS, mentor team members, manage family engagement, and maintain our centre’s online presence. Perfect for an educator who’s equally at home running group time and designing a yearbook.

Salary: $73,211 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, document and critically reflect using Storypark and written observations
• Mentor new educators and students
• Manage routines and behaviour guidance
• Lead event planning, rosters and yearbook production
• Update and manage the centre's website (Wix) and Instagram (branding, visual design)
• Liaise with families, OTs, Speech Therapists, and other agencies
• Assist with family tours, enrolments and communication

Essential Criteria:

• Strong understanding of EYLF v2.0 and NQS
• Excellent time management, initiative, and leadership skills
• Confident in using Canva, Wix, Photoshop, Lightroom, iMovie, Treering
• Yearbook creation experience
• Solution-focused and professional under pressure
• 4 Years work experience
• Full working rights in Australia

Other Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent, ACECQA-recognised)
• A valid Working with Children Check
• Child Protection Qualification (current)
• First Aid, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (HLTAID012 or equivalent)
