Nominations open for the 2025 Victorian Early Years Awards

Now in its 20th year, the Victorian Early Years Awards celebrate the individuals, organisations and initiatives shaping high-quality outcomes for children and families across Victoria.
The awards are an opportunity to spotlight the leadership, collaboration and innovation driving improvement across early childhood education and care (ECEC), family support, health, and community services supporting young children.
Educators, leaders and approved providers are encouraged to nominate individuals, programs or teams making an outstanding contribution in the early years.
The 2025 program features nine award categories, including:
- Improving Access and Participation in Early Learning
- Supporting Parents to Build Their Capacity and Confidence
- Creating Collaborative Community Partnerships
- Promoting Children’s Health and Wellbeing
- Continuity of Early Learning
- The Emeritus Professor Collette Tayler Excellence in Educational Leadership Award
- The Aunty Rose Bamblett Koorie Early Years Legacy Award
- Early Childhood Teacher of the Year
- Educator of the Year Award
Each category winner will receive a $15,000 grant to support their program or for professional development.
The awards are open to professionals and organisations across early learning, community organisations, allied health, disability and health services, local government services, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and more.
Nominations close at 5pm on Thursday 12 June 2025.
To celebrate the strength of Victoria’s early years sector, nominate a colleague or program making a difference.
