The capacity of think deeply about our work with children is an essential professional capability. Undertaking this alone can be daunting, but when we think together we have the capacity to uncover and understand the new possibilities of being an educator in the 21st century and drive a culture of continuous improvement. This session invites participants into a reflective practice space that cultivates thinking and discovery.
Expected Outcomes:
- Explore a contemporary early childhood education concept
- Understand how these concepts can be used to build quality and engage participants in discussion
About the Presenter:
Catharine Hydon has extensive experience in the early childhood sector, beginning as a teacher in a sessional kindergarten program. Catharine has a Masters in Early Childhood Education specialising in early childhood practice, the delivery of integrated services and the exploration of innovative programs.
