The Creative Communications Officer is responsible for producing high-quality print and digital artwork, marketing collateral, and publications that align with the organisation’s visual identity. This role plays a key part in supporting the broader Marketing and Communications team across various activities, including events, fundraising, video production and photography, as well as creating visuals following our brand guidelines.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Design and produce print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, infographics, banners, reports, etc.
- Ensure brand consistency by upholding the organisation’s visual identity across all projects.
- Develop and manage inventory of branding and marketing materials
- Photography and videography, including edition and maintaining the media library.
- Coordinating internal and external printing, liaising with printing suppliers.
- Assist in the delivery of communication and marketing activities for internal and external stakeholders, as directed.
- Perform other duties as required.
What We Need from You
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience and training, and English proficiency
- Demonstrated skills in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Illustrator) and Canva
- Demonstrated experience in creating and customising printed materials, including publications, flyers, signage, etc.
- Proficiency in photography and media library management
- Strong initiative, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a small, diverse and busy team environment
- A customer-focused approach and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
- Maintain current ‘Working with Vulnerable People’ registration
Desirable
- Experience with videography using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar
- Experience with digital marketing and social media management
- Understanding of the community and/or charity sector
- Current driver’s licence.
