The Imagine Education Group currently manages long day care (LDC) centres under the umbrella of six trusted brands across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Brands include Imagine Childcare, Grow Early Education, Children First Early Education, Ashton’s Place Immersive Learners, Bray Park Early Learning Centre and Moorefield Park Childcare Centre.

Imagine is led by Nadine Ross, General Manager, and Alex Sofopoulos who serves as National Operations Manager.

What is the Imagine Education Group vision and approach to learning?

Imagine is passionate about inspiring children to develop a lifelong love of learning, by providing the best teaching practices and early learning environments.

Services across the brand network are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for families, aiming to serve as a warm and welcoming community hub, where families feel supported, safe, and happy.

Each service works collaboratively with families to encourage children to become independent, creative, curious, and active learners in life.

“The importance we place on working in partnership with our families and our local communities, ensures our learning programs are a collaboration of meaningful experiences that promote each child’s individual development,” information on the website notes.

“We embrace the culture and heritage of all of our families and staff members, and celebrate the rich diversity that they bring to our childcare centres.”

What is the Imagine approach to educator professional development?

Imagine educators participate in professional development training to ensure they keep abreast with current developments and research in the area of early childhood education.

They hold current CPR and First Aid certificates, and adhere to the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations to reinforce high quality practices.

Staff members are offered a 75 per cent discount on gap fees if their children are enrolled at one of its services, and a number of staff have progressed to leadership roles within their services and across the fast growing company.

Employees are paid above the award wage and are offered “every opportunity to up-skill.”

Staff are encouraged to continually develop their knowledge and talents through in-house training and professional development programs, including The Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).
