This exciting Education Leadership opportunity has arisen at our purpose-built campus currently catering for up to 75 children daily in Leichhardt.

This campus is located in the bustling hub of Norton street plaza with established links to the local community and many shops, cafes and facilities within the shopping centre. 

• With well resourced, age-appropriate indoor learning environments and dedicated outdoor learning/ play spaces, children have many opportunities to develop holistically in this campus.
• You will be joining a supportive and knowledgable leadership team, working in partnership with the CD who has an excellent knowledge of the campus and a genuine passion for Early Childhood.

Education Leader role

We are hiring for a passionate senior Educator to take on the role of Education Leader at OAC Leichhardt.

We are looking to appoint someone to focus on quality area 1 and act as an advocate for pedagody and practice at this campus. 

Approx. 1 day off the floor per week and non room leader responsibilities to focus on leadership and mentoring across the campus.

• • Maximise WH&S and ensure policies are adhered to eg Child protection
  • Share your knowledge of the EYLF & NQF
  • Inspire Educators and Room leaders to deliver an outstanding program in line with the OAC grow curriculum
  • Mentor the team, reflect on best practice and develop the programming cycle in each room
  • Lead Quality area 1 across the campus 
  • Observe Educators and room leaders and provide advice, research and guidance 
  • Meet with Educators and support during programming time
  • Attend Education Leader meetings and collaborate with Education & Pedagogy team
