ECEC Grant opportunity: Grants for Growth now available
A funding grant opportunity applicable to the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector has recently been announced, with some services eligible for $10,000 in grant funding from H&R Block.
The Grant for Growth initiative applies to Australian small businesses, including ECEC businesses, with successful applicants receiving $5,000 in cash and an additional $5,000 to use towards H&R Block’s business accounting and bookkeeping services.
Entry is open to small and medium businesses and sole traders operating in Australia. To be eligible, the business must have less than ten employees, and a turn over of under $3 million in the 12 months prior to the date of entry. Businesses must be genuine, and hold an ABN, to be eligible. The promotion is not restricted to current or former H&R Block customers, meaning anyone who meets the above criteria is eligible to enter on behalf of their business.
Entries, which are open until 31 October 2019, are made by visiting the Grants link, and following the prompts, listing the ABN, business address, and other details. In 100 words or less, applicants are asked to explain why their business should be eligible for a grant, and then provide a high-level business plan drafted in accordance with the points listed on the website before submitting the fully completed entry form.
Full terms and conditions are available here, with more information to be found on the Grants for Growth website here.
