ACA Queensland makes key appointments in Executive Leadership Team

The Australian Childcare Alliance QLD (ACA Qld) has announced two significant appointments to its executive leadership team, with Abed Haroun to join as General Manager, and Kay Reyes to join as Projects Officer.
Mr Haroun has a wealth of experience in leadership and organisational development, whilst Ms Reyes has extensive project management knowledge.
The “remarkable experience” of the duo is expected to play a fundamental role in guiding the organisation towards achieving its goals, and will be instrumental in driving key initiatives and projects forward, ACA Qld President Majella Fitzsimmons said.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Abed and Kay to the ACA Qld executive team. These positions have been established to further reinforce our dedication to delivering high-quality support and services to our valued members,” she added.
“Both individuals display a deep understanding of the organisational structure and sector growth and will be invaluable in shaping the strategic direction of ACA Qld.”
In the coming month, a new Training Operations Manager will also be appointed to enhance the capabilities of the Childcare Alliance Early Childhood Education (CAECE) team. Ms Fitzsimmons said this appointment “further underscores ACA Qld’s steadfast commitment to providing high-quality education and support to early learning professionals”.
“These pivotal leadership roles will collaborate closely to create a robust and influential team, enabling both ACA Qld and CAECE to continue their unwavering support for the early learning sector,” she added.
