–BRAND NEW CENTRE–

Bluebird Benedict House is Due to open in Mid-Late 2023- Our Team is currently recruiting an Experienced Educational Leader, ECT, Diploma & Cert 3  – for our beautifully restored Heritage building at Benedict House in the Heart of Queanbeyan, NSW. These positions will begin in late 2023 to begin to build your Team and set – up the service after the completion of the handover.  

About the Centre:

At Bluebird Benedict House, we provide the highest quality Care and Education to all children from the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years. Our wonderful Service is a premium, resorted Heritage building with an additional purpose-built childcare facility, designed to provide a natural and family-friendly environment, inclusive for all.

Our state-of-the-art Early Education facility is designed to “Ignite the Spirit of Learning” within every child – and our safe, inviting environments encourage children to freely explore the world around them. From our large fort, and sustainability areas to our sand/ mud stations, and quiet reading nooks – you will have endless opportunities to create quality programs, engage in meaningful relationships, and bring a sense of energy to the environment each day.

The Roles

We want to build our network of passionate, supportive, and genuine Educators.

We currently have permanent part-time opportunities for an Assistant Centre Manager, ECT, Diploma Qualified Educational Leader, and Diploma or Certificate III in ECEC qualified Assistant Educators to join our Bluebird Benedict House team.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood, Diploma/Certificate III in ECEC or actively working toward these qualifications.
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid with CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificate of willingness to obtain these.
  • Current Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection certificates or willing to obtain these.
  • Current Safe Sleep and Food Handling certificates or willing to obtain these.
  • Work experience in an Early Childhood setting.
  • Passionate about providing exceeding early education and care.
