Michelle Scott appointed Head of Childcare Operations at Mayfield Childcare

ASX listed Mayfield Childcare has appointed Michelle Scott to the role of Head of Childcare Operations, making her responsible for the operations of the Group’s forty early childhood education and care (ECEC) centres across Australia.
Ms Scott joined Mayfield in January 2023 as an area manager and rapidly progressed through the organisational structure being appointed as an Operations Manager four months later and now to the role of Head of Childcare Operations.
“Michelle has hit the ground running since joining Mayfield and made her mark in a short period of time. She played a pivotal role in our transformation work this year and was the natural choice to lead our childcare operations into the future,” Mayfield CEO Ashok Naveinthiran said.
“The team is thrilled to see Michelle step into this senior leadership position, and I’m excited to see the impact she will make at Mayfield as she leads over 1,000 educators and operational staff across the country.”
Prior to joining Mayfield Ms Scott worked for nearly five years in Canberra in a range of roles including centre manager, operations manager and general manager. In addition, Ms Scott spent two and a half years at G8 Education in Victoria in centre manager and operations manager roles.
Ms Scott’s appointment is effective immediately.
