Kids at Home Family Day Care (FDC) is a Brisbane-based FDC provider rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard.

 

What is the history of Kids At Home Family Day Care?

 

Kids At Home FDC was given service approval in October 2009, and since that time has grown to become one of Queensland’s largest FDC providers. 

 

The provider was named as Australia’s best FDC service in 2017, and was selected as the best Queensland/Northern Territory service in the 2019 Awards. Educator April Eaton secured the win for Educator of the Year in 2019 also.

 

“We are naturally delighted to be recognised time after time for our passion and dedication to FDC, and thank all of our staff, educators, families and children who have all played their part,” information on the organisation’s website notes. 

 

What is Kids At Home Family Day Care’s vision and approach to learning? 

 

Kids At Home FDC supports the belief that childhood is a unique and critical stage of life and is fully committed to the care, nurturing and development of children, whilst also providing support and respect for families.

 

The service believes in creating an environment where open bidirectional communication and strong relationships between staff, educators and families can flourish.
