Long standing Only About Children senior leader Kathryn Hutchins to step down
Only About Children’s Chief People & Quality Officer Kathryn Hutchins has confirmed that she will be stepping down from her position and transitioning out of the Group after just over ten years of service.
“I have had the pleasure to work for the past ten plus years with an amazing purpose led early education company, one where I have built truly lasting personal and professional friendships who have all taught me the value of working within a team,” Ms Hutchins said in a Linked In post.
“It’s now time to say farewell and look forward to new opportunities.”
Ms Hutchins joined Only About Children in 2012 as the Group’s first Human Resources Director, a role she held for just under two years before transitioning to the General Manager, Children’s Services and then the General Manager, Operations positions which covered a four year period of rapid growth for the Group.
In 2018, Ms Hutchins was appointed GM, Customer, Strategy & Stakeholder and was responsible for sales, services, marketing and product functions until just before COVID-19 hit at which point Ms Hutchins became Chief People & Quality Officer, a position she held up to her resignation.
“During the last ten years I have had the honour and privilege to be part of the growth story for an organisation at the forefront of premium early education delivery – I’ve had a career that has never stood still and challenged the norm – providing me with the opportunity to be a key lead in innovation, growth, strategy, engagement and change,” she said.
“I leave the Company, proud to have been instrumental in its journey,” she continued.
“I’ve established firm lasting friendships that I will carry with me throughout my career and wish to thank all those that have supported me and allowed me to lead, provide advice, mentor and coach them in their career.”
