Edge services in ACT celebrate success with Exceeding rating and CECA recognition
Two Edge Early Learning centres in the Australian Capital Territory are celebrating their recent successes, with Edge Early Learning Ngunnawal rated as ‘Exceeding’ in all categories and Edge Early Learning Charnwood being singled out by Children’s Education and Care Assurance (CECA), for its Pay It Forward initiative.
“Being recognised by ACECQA is a huge accolade within the early learning sector, and we are beyond thrilled that our Ngunnawal centre has been bestowed with this recognition,” Edge Early Learning CEO Annie Bryce said.
Implementing a bespoke educational program called ‘Teach A Rainbow’, maintaining exceptional safety measures such as daily use of temperature machines, and quality care and learning resources, were some of the standout features which secured the ‘Exceeding’ in all seven areas.
“Edge Ngunnawal goes above and beyond in a range of different ways with their education and care, and we are really proud of this achievement,” Ms Bryce continued.
Edge Early Learning Charnwood was also noted for ‘setting a benchmark’ in early childhood education in July by CECA, for its Pay It Forward initiative. The internal initiative allocates two hours per month for staff to give back to the community through a range of efforts – from donating blood, volunteering or other volunteer services in the local community.
The provider now has more than 50 centres across three states – Queensland, South Australia and ACT. Learn more about Edge Early Learning here.
