C&K appoints Kim Davis as new Chief Operating Officer
Queensland early childhood education and care (ECEC) provider C&K has confirmed that Kim Davis will be the Group’s new Chief Operating Officer filling a vacancy that was left by Dr Sandra Cheeseman post her appointment as CEO in December 2021.
“Kim is well-known in the C&K community, having led the rollout of Kindy Uplift across our pilot kindergartens and partner programs in 2021, as well as holding the role of Education Manager in previous years,” Dr Cheeseman said.
“After eight years in Melbourne, we’re excited Kim has headed back to the sunshine, taking up this opportunity with C&K.”
Across the course of her career, Kim has held a range of roles in the areas of inclusion support through to consultancy, business development and tertiary education, gaining a broad understanding of the early years sector. She also has extensive experience working with governments at all levels alongside other stakeholders.
Kim has previously held senior positions at Early Childhood Management Services (ECMS) where she was Executive Director of Early Childhood Education and KU Children’s Services where she was the Manager, Business Development and was also a Co-fFounder and Director of well known ECEC consultancy Astute Early Years Specialists.
The appointment is effective immediately and will see Kim not only return to Queensland, but also return to C&K, after leaving her position as Education Manager in 2014 to pursue opportunities in Sydney and then Melbourne.
