Forest School Leader Training

We love enabling educators in schools and early learning centres to lead Forest School and Bush Kindy, and helping to enrich children’s learning.

Forest school is about how to use the outdoors in teaching. The ethos is about promoting children’s confidence, self esteem and independence through small achievable tasks. It provides children with educational experience in a natural environment, that also builds their wellbeing such a health, social skills, resilience and motivation.

Forest School Leader Training is a 5-day hands-on practical outdoor training course preceded by an online module of theoretical learning (of up to 20 hours including assessment).

This outstanding training incorporates learning with bush experiences. You will improve your confidence and ability to work outside with children, and align your school or centre’s ethos with that of Forest Learning, receiving up to date advice on health and safety, and how to empower children to manage risk…and much more.

Suitable for:

• Early Childhood Educators and Directors
• Primary School Teachers and Principles
• Educators with a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care, Diploma, or Equivalent Experience
