What are the early indicators of Autism? What role can parents and people who work with children play in supporting early diagnosis and intervention?
An estimated 1 in 100 children have Autism Spectrum Disorder, however a majority are not diagnosed until they are three years old – more than a year after they can be reliably diagnosed and receive life-changing intervention!
This information session will help participants:
- Identify the early signs of Autism
- Understand diagnostic and intervention pathways
- Develop strategies to support parents and facilitate early learning for their child
- Learn about services and family support offered by the Autism Association, and referral pathways
