Nicholas Antuar appointed as Head of Learning and Development for Affinity

Nicholas Antuar has been appointed Head of Learning and Development at Affinity Education Group, a newly created position for 2025.
In his new role Mr Antuar, an experienced professional with experience in the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector, will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the Affinity group.
His role spans Management Development, transforming Centre Management talent through innovative development strategies through to onboarding new team members and helping them to realise their potential by fostering commitment, curiosity, capability, and confidence.
Central to his remit is the goal of driving growth through impactful learning programs and leadership development.
“It’s fantastic to see a rapidly growing company such as Affinity Education investing in and supporting the growth and development of every team member,” Mr Antuar said.
“I am inspired by the profound impact our people have every day on children’s lives, so it’s exciting to be able to bring my philosophy of ‘investing in you, enriching their future’ to the upcoming training and upskilling programs we will introduce here,” he added.
Mr Antuar’s previous ECEC experience includes being the Learning Experience Manager for C&K, the Acting General Manager People and Culture for C&K, and being Head of Delivery at the Goodstart Early Learning Institute
In addition to previous ECEC experience Mr Antuar has many years of learning and development experience in industries including banking, insurance, retail, telecommunications, energy and automotive, and is an experienced lecturer and tutor in Human Resource Management and Development at QUT.
