New public preschool at Gulyangarri Public School
The New South Wales Government has announced enrolments at a new public preschool at Gulyangarri Public School, are now open, with the preschool being the first of 100 new public preschools set to open as part of NSW Government’s commitment to deliver expanded access to early childhood education.
Gulyangarri Public School is a newly built facility which opened on Day 1 Term 1 2024. As part of the project, the new school includes an on-site preschool for up to 40 children a day.
The preschool is situated in Building A on the western side of the school and includes two rooms.
The project to complete the fitout services for the preschool started in July 2024 and is now complete.
The new preschool features specially designed rooms and a quality outdoor play area. The NSW ECEC Regulatory Authority will soon assess the service approval application for the preschool service, and once service approval has been granted, the preschool will confirm the opening date.
The Government has invested $769 million to deliver 100 new public preschools, including building a new preschool at every new NSW public primary school in NSW, to boost access to preschool across the state.
Families who wish to enroll at the new public preschool at Gulyangarri Public School should submit an expression of interest form to the school office.
