One Tree creates REYLL initiative to support regional Western Australia
Early childhood education and care (ECEC) provider One Tree Community Services has created the REYLL (Regional Early Years Learning and Lead) initiative to provide resources and support to early educators across regional Western Australia.
The creation of REYLL follows One Tree, along with two other not for profit entities, being given funding from the WA Government Department of Communities to support early education in regional WA.
Under the REYLL initiative One Tree has created a specialist website to support eligible ECEC services with various online resources and tools including customised eLearning and policies that the participants are able to use in their own services.
REYLL also offers:
- Supported traineeships – enrol educators for free in their ECEC qualifications
- Customised educator training – provided face to face or over teams addressing relevant topics
- Leadership coaching – monthly coaching provided by an accredited professional coach
- Facilitated networking – monthly group meetings to support peer learning
- Operational tools and support – resources to support viability and quality
- Support accessing grants and subsidies – assistance identifying applicable funding streams
- Accessing subsidised housing – support provided to access subsidised housing where available
- Cultural Practice support – a suite of videos to improve cultural awareness
- Online educator training – self paced videos to improve practice and knowledge
- Management training – self paced training to develop leadership and management skills
