The Thrive Group has been providing quality education and care throughout Tasmania since 1975, and offers family day care (FDC), long day care (LDC), outside school hours care (OSHC) and holiday care programs.
What is the history of the Thrive Group?
The Thrive Group began in 1975 with the creation of Launceston Family Day Care Scheme in November of that year. At the time it was only the second FDC scheme to exist in Tasmania.
Thrive now has 9 LDC services, 14 OSHC settings, and a number of FDC educators throughout the state.
What is the Thrive Group vision and approach to learning?
The Group’s vision is to enable Tasmania’s children to thrive while they explore and contribute to the wonder filled world around them.
Curriculum and learning opportunities in the services are in line with the approved learning frameworks, and support the broader Thrive vision, namely:
