Shine Bright Bendigo farewells Jenny Prince, celebrating her wonderful career
Jenny Prince has been an integral part of Shine Bright Early Years Management (EYM) for more than 20 years, and recently said ‘farewell’ to the sector which has brought her so much joy.
On the occasion of Ms Prince’s retirement Shine Bright EYMs Early Years Manager, Belinda Schultz has issued a public reflection on the significant impact she has made during her time with the provider.
“Jenny’s dedication to bush kinder has been truly instrumental in redefining early childhood education in our region,” Ms Schultz said.
“Her passion for outdoor learning has not only enriched the lives of countless children but has also served as a beacon of innovation for educators across the state. We wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement and express our deepest gratitude for her tireless commitment to the field.”
Ms Prince was an early childhood teacher prior to joining the Shine Bright team, most notably at Spring Gully Kindergarten. She leaves behind a legacy marked by innovation and passion, particularly in pioneering bush kinder in regional Victoria, being among the first to introduce this transformative educational approach to the state.
Her contributions to early childhood education, especially her role in advancing bush kinder, “have left an indelible mark on our community,” Ms Schultz said.
“Her commitment to providing enriching experiences for children in nature has inspired many and will continue to shape the landscape of early learning for years to come.”
The Sector extends its congratulations to Ms Prince on these significant achievements, and wishes her all the best for a peaceful and prosperous retirement.
