Best Start, Best Life Evening Leadership series is set to inspire
For some time now the Victorian Government has been seen as leading the way when it comes to early childhood education and care (ECEC) reform, making a nation leading $14 billion investment over the next decade.
This investment covers many facets of the ECEC sector, and supports children, families and ECEC professionals. In 2024, the Department is delivering new events to support Victoria’s early childhood leaders in their continued implementation of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. As part of this work, the Department has introduced the Best Start, Best Life Evening Leadership Series.
The series will provide valuable expertise and advice to service leaders on how to prepare their teams and communities for these nation-leading reforms. Each event will feature highly regarded guest speakers, including leaders in early childhood education and care, researchers, and leadership experts.
This year’s events will be available in-person and online and take place in terms 1 and 4, 2024. They are designed to complement the popular Early Learning Leadership Forums, which are scheduled for terms 2 and 3 this year.
The Evening Leadership Series is open to any leader who may be seeking easily accessible expertise and information about the reforms within Victoria’s early childhood education sector, including approved providers, service managers and administrators, peak bodies, Early Years Managers (EYMs) and committees of management.
Leading for Impact
The inaugural Evening Leadership Series event, Leading for Impact, will take place on Wednesday 6 March 2024 at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership in North Melbourne, and online.
Leading for Impact will see leaders gather in person and online to hear about the latest information and updates from the Department, insights about the progress of Best Start, Best Life, and to get valuable information and insights about preparing teams and organisations for change.
