Winners of National Family Day Care Award to be announced this weekend
The winners of the Family Day Care Australia (FDCA) Excellence in Family Day Care Awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner on Saturday evening, to be held at the Adelaide Pullman Hotel.
The awards promote the valuable contribution family day care (FDC) educators make to more than 85,000 children across the country each day, and bring together twelve National Finalists, with three National Winners to be crowned in the Educator, Coordinator and Service of the Year Categories.
“The awards play a key role in recognising the achievements of educators, coordinators and services on a national level and provide an opportunity to promote the unique benefits of FDC to Australian families,” FDCA Chief Executive Officer Andrew Paterson said.
Now in their 12th year, the awards showcase the unique benefits of FDC, and are the only national awards program dedicated to recognising the work and achievements of those within the FDC sector Australia-wide.
“This year we received over 5,000 awards nominations, a testament to the irreplaceable role of those working in the FDC sector across Australia,” Mr Paterson said.
“The 12 national finalists who have been selected are a wonderful representation of all those that make FDC an option of choice for Australian families.”
The FDCA Excellence in Family Day Care Awards Gala Dinner and National Awards Presentation takes place on Saturday 25 November at the Adelaide Pullman Hotel from 6.30pm.
