Jane Hunt to step down as Front Project CEO
Jane Hunt, CEO of The Front Project, has resigned, saying that her role in leading the Project has been “a career highlight”.
Ms Hunt, who has held the CEO position for seven years, informed the Board of her resignation, saying “it has been an extraordinary journey establishing and leading the organisation. It has truly been a career highlight to create a highly effective organisation creating systemic change in early learning that has benefited children and families.”
The Front Project is an independent, national enterprise addressing disadvantage and improving outcomes for children, families, and society by realising the benefits of quality early learning through the application of a ‘Systems Change’ approach.
“I am proud of our collective effort and have been fortunate to work with a talented team, a strategic Board and a sector that cares deeply about all children thriving in Australia,” Ms Hunt said.
“Alongside our colleagues in government, research and policy, we have had enormous impact.”
The process of appointing a new CEO has commenced, and Ms Hunt said she was looking forward to supporting the organisation in the transition period.
“I am confident that the incoming CEO, the Front Project team, collaborators and colleagues across the ecosystem with their focus on equity and improving quality will continue to centre the voices of children and shape the system, which is truly remarkable,” she said.
“The impact we have demonstrated time and again will continue, as the Front Project moves even closer to realising its mission of alleviating disadvantage and improving learning and development outcomes for all children in Australia.”
