Nominations are now open for 2023 Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards

Long day care (LDC) services in New South Wales are being invited to nominate individuals and whole service groups who are worthy of recognition for the 2023 Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards, presented by the NSW branch of the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA).

An official guide has been prepared to support the nomination process, which covers 28 categories including: 

• Metropolitan Services Excellence awards (four subcategories)
• Regional and Rural Services Excellence awards (four subcategories)
• Excellence awards (six subcategories) 
• Excellence in Training (two sub categories)
• Excellence in People (seven sub categories)
• 2023 Children’s Outcomes (five sub categories). 

Nominations for the awards opened on 23 May. Other dates of note include:

• Nominations for awards Close on 16 August 2023
• Finalists to be announced on 14 September 2023
• Awards and ‘Royal Celebration’ Dinner on 21 October 2023.

The 2023 Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards Gala Night will be at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney on Saturday, 21 October 2023 from 6 pm for a 7 pm start. The theme for the evening will be ‘Royalty.’

Services are invited to submit for one or more of the 28 categories by answering the criteria questions in the Official Guide via the online portal, by e-mail to [email protected] or by regular mail by 11.59 pm on 16 August 2023.
