Vision, philosophy and approach to learning
Thrive’s mission is a simple one – to provide high quality care and learning experiences outside of school hours for preschool and school aged children.
Safety is the primary organisational value, with Thrive saying “safety first in everything we do” is a core driver.
Other organisational values include being responsive to the needs of children, families and staff, holding mutual respect for children, families and staff, and having a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Within the Thrive team, employees are asked to aspire and work under the following value set:
- Honesty, trust and cooperation
- Teamwork and professionalism
- Accountability
- Equality and diversity
- Inspiration
“We provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children are treated with dignity, acknowledged as individuals and have the opportunity to develop social, physical, cognitive, cultural and emotional skills and enhance their self-worth through encouragement of life-long learning,” a Thrive representative noted.
“We encourage the development of positive relationships and interactions with families and their children, providing regular routines, a range of stimulating structured and unstructured activities based on the approved learning frameworks in a supportive physical environment and an atmosphere of trust, respect and honesty.”
