For early childhood education and care (ECEC) services, managing costs, time and compliance are key challenges that never seem to abate. As the early learning sector evolves, so should the partners, platforms and services that support it.

Woolworths at Work is one of those partners. Purpose-built to make managing supplies easy for Australian ECEC businesses, Woolworths at Work is all about driving efficiency – whether that’s by reducing administrative costs through consolidated invoicing or giving educators more time for what matters by streamlining the ordering process.

The team at Woolworths at Work recognise the crucial role that educators, caregivers and ECEC professionals play in bringing up the next generation. As part of a group that has served Australians for almost 100 years, they believe a healthy, thriving nation begins with its children. And we know that ECEC professionals hold that same essential belief.

But Woolworths at Work also deeply understands businesses and their need to operate efficiently in order to provide vital services such as child care and education. That’s why the team regularly engages with sector stakeholders to understand the changing needs, pressures and expectations of the ECEC world. These collaborative partnerships enable Woolworths at Work to continuously build and improve its features to better serve its customers.

Here are a few features that can help your ECEC service manage supplies more efficiently, reduce hard and soft costs, and provide better nutrition to the children in your care.

Seamless buying for your ECEC business

Even more value

We’ve tagged hundreds of products across our great value range to help you choose the most cost-effective items for your business. Keep an eye out for our bright red value tags when you register and place your first order. .

Increased order quantities for business

Unlike the supermarkets, we allow businesses to order quantities of up to 99 on selected products. And if you need even more, we have a free bulk ordering service.

Smart search

We’ve improved our search feature to speed up the ordering process. Now, when you search for an item, we’ll display a relevant product you’ve purchased before to make it even easier to find all your staples. We’ve also added category suggestions to some of the results pages so you can find what you need even faster. For example, when you search for milk, we’ll show you a selection of categories to save you scrolling through all the options.

Buy online or in-store without the paperwork

When you sign up to become a customer, apply for a line of credit in Work Hub, you can easily buy online and in-store without the paperwork. All purchases can be consolidated into a single digital invoice. No more sending hundreds of receipts to accounts payable to process.

Bagless to bench

No time to unpack the groceries? No problem. Our optional Bagless to bench service means our drivers will deliver your order during  your allocated time slot and unpack it directly onto the bench, freeing you up for more important things. Simply select this packaging option at the checkout before finalising your order.

Shopping seasonally with menu plans

Buying in-season means you can get the highest quality local produce at the best prices. Woolworths at Work has created an interactive seasonal produce calendar to help you find the best in fresh. Plus once you register to become a customer, get exclusive free access to more than sixty seasonal meal plans, created in partnership with Nutrition Australia to help ECEC services save time, money and stress.
