Family Day Care Australia’s (FDCA) annual celebration of excellence, the Excellence in Family Day Care Awards is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Award round, offering the broader community the chance to celebrate the family day care (FDC) sector on a national level and recognise the extraordinary achievements of family day care services, coordinators and educators.
As the only event of its kind, the Excellence in Family Day Care Awards not only celebrate those already within the sector, they also offer a chance for the FDC community to showcase the unique benefits of the nurturing, natural approach to education and care that family day care provides to more than 94,000 Australian children.
“The Awards are an important way for Australian families and communities to say thanks to their local early childhood heroes,” Andrew Paterson, the Chief Executive Officer for FDCA said.
With FDC educators making up one of the largest networks of women in small business in the country, the Awards are an important vehicle for acknowledging the support these women provide to communities across the country, enabling and empowering other women to participate in the workforce.
Nominations for the 2022 Excellence in Family Day Care Awards close 1 May 2022, and can be made here. Winners will be announced on 17 September 2022.
