ACECQA Ratings Review Panel welcomes 14 new reviewers

The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has welcomed 14 new members to its Rating Review Panel in 2022.
The Ratings Review Panel is an important aspect of the assessment and rating process for early childhood education and care (ECEC) services. Under the National Law approved providers can apply under Section 141 for a first tier review from the relevant regulatory authority.
If the approved provider is not satisfied with the first tier review they can apply to ACECQA for a second tier review which is conducted by the Ratings Review Panel. The panel is composed of a pool of qualified and experienced people who determine the outcome of second tier reviews.
Members of the Ratings Review Panel are from a variety of service types, and consist of members from the ECEC sector as well as governments. Panelists are chosen to strengthen the overall experience, expertise and knowledge base of the panel as a collective.
Following the addition of the 14 new members, the complete list of panel members has been updated and may be found here.
